Rotary Donates $10,000 to 萌妹视频Emergency Fund
The recently received a generous donation of $10,000 from the Long Beach Rotary Charitable Foundation (LBRCF).
Retired 萌妹视频Dean and current LBRCF President Gail Schwandner announced the donation as part of a $70,000 donation in which half is to provide direct COVID-19 relief to local education and community organizations. Other recipients included California State University Long Beach Student Emergency Fund, the Long Beach Community Foundation Coronavirus Relief Fund, and the Salvation Army Long Beach Citadel COVID-19 Response.
Since the pandemic hit in mid-March, many 萌妹视频students have struggled with job and income loss, resulting in a focused effort by the 萌妹视频Foundation, the District, donors and the community to locate additional aid for them during this time.
