As the Superintendent-President Dr. Mike Muñoz is the chief executive officer of the district and oversees the ÃÈÃÃÊÓƵ (LBCC) administration. Nationally recognized as a transformational leader, Dr. Muñoz led ÃÈÃÃÊÓƵsince March 4, 2021. He is an expert in closing racial equity gaps for students of color, creating inclusive campus cultures for LGBTQIA+ students, and efficiently executing innovative change that makes ÃÈÃÃÊÓƵa destination college for students from all backgrounds.
LBCC’s Department of Innovation is committed to expanding the college’s impact by strategically investing in equity-focused initiatives to drive change and access for prospective and current students, faculty, and staff.
We dream, develop, launch, operationalize, and support strategic initiatives that contribute to success for all, in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Innovation is central to LBCC’s Strategic Plan 2022-26.
